Mmmmm... nice.
You obtain said wireless router yet?
Nah, I'm still plugged in.
I have my eyes on one though. about $15 after rebate. Can't go wrong for 15 bucks.
jesus, you'd pay more than that for two cups of tea in London!
I ended up being too impatient to wait on shipping. I went down to the shops and came away with a name brand one. at about $44 (32 euros, 22 pounds). Bigger dent in the wallet, but less of a worry about it going off. And I got it now!! Woo!
Holy shit, literally the cheapest no-brand wifi router in the UK is £30 (I get a weekly email giving me the cheapest national prices). I think you've done well there :)
You all really do pay more for tech all the time, don't you. I wonder what that's about.
It's something to consider if I ever find myself negotiating a salary for a job in London.
ooooh! that would be exciting! I guess on the flip side we get things like holidays. Although we also get teeny tiny living space per square-foot-dollar.
We only get big living space to dollar ratios if we live in the suburbs (which I can't stand).
And of course, the bigger the city, the less space you get. Seattle's pretty ridiculous, though, if you want to own your flat (we call them condos for some reason). Mortgages can be 5x rent for the same amount of floor space.
