It's strange. Seeing famous people on the street. The other day I was on my way to the bus, talking to Rakka on the mobile. And there was Dale Chihuly, complete with his trademark blue shirt, eye patch and rotundness. I should have gotten an autograph. But I was so focused not missing my bus that the only thing to come of it was a bit of Newhartesque phone conversation.
me: Hey, I just passed Dale Chihuly!
...
me: No, he's pretty short
...
me: I, I don't know what he's doing in Ballard. I think he was going to radio shack.
...
me: Yes, I think they do have radio shacks in Tacoma.

this has made me wonder why the first question i tend to ask is "is he/she tall?".
it depends on the subject. You only seem to ask that about famous people.
i think i have to disagree.
i think that i always want to know if someone is short in advance so i can tell if i'm going to have to slump over to talk to them.
or something.
maybe i'm just heightist. ;D
That's is, you must be "heightist". That's what makes the most sense.
you know how annoyed i get at short people. don't play like you don't. ;D
always getting under my feet and making me feel like a cumbersome giantess. *shakes fist*
